Bon Voyage Thai Islands
Another day at Santhiya...we'll happily take it!
The grounds really are decorated beautifully.
The four of us headed into the town again for massages on the beach. Ahhhhhh.
Then we thought we would explore going to see the sunset that night. We were on the opposite side of the island from where the sun sets. The drive over was over an hour. But, Meredith had the idea of a water taxi! A little negotiating and thirty minute boat ride later, we were having sunset drinks watching one of the most gorgeous sunsets you've ever seen. The colors were so vivid. As was the scenery.
On the boat ride back to the resort, we had the most incredible rising moon. Deep red. MASSIVE as it started to rise. We actually didn't believe it was the moon at first. Never seen anything like it before in our lives. Tried to take a photo, but it was clear that wasn't going to work from a little water taxi, so the camera went away and we just enjoyed watching it come up for the night.
It's our last night here and we just enjoyed being poolside at our private pool, room service to the room and some good chats with to die for views.
We're gonna miss this place.
